Chatham is located in Jackson Parish in north central Louisiana, easily accessible from State Highways 4 and 34. Chatham is approximately twenty-five miles south of Interstate 20.

In the Chatham area, there are all kind of recreational opportunities for those who enjoy boating, fishing and swimming. In the town itself, plans are being made for a new fishing pier and picnic area to be constructed on Chatham Lake. On a larger scale, Caney Lake is located approximately five miles south of Chatham. Jimmy Davis State Park, on Caney Lake, provides camping areas, cabins, group-camp facilities, picnic areas and some of the best fishing in the state.

Throughout the year, we have activities to celebrate small town life. From the annual rodeo to the Fourth of July and Christmas celebrations, we will try to keep you up to date on these events through our web site.
